Chris Delaney joined Foodbuy Canada in 2014 and was tasked with the responsibility of building a strong brand, devising a growth strategy and developing a National Sales Team. During his tenure this team has successfully grown from one to ten individuals across Canada. The impact of his team’s efforts are evident in Foodbuy’s substantial growth – the doubling of managed volume by 3.5 times during the time Chris has held this position. This growth has also opened doors to significant partnerships with national and regional associations, as well as numerous access GPO partners.

Chris’ expertise in sales spans across an impressive 30-year career. Prior to Foodbuy, Chris worked with renowned print businesses such as Canon and Ricoh, engaging in local as well as key account sales. In addition to sales Chris has exceptional skills in team management and possesses a deep understanding of insurance, risk management, and the automotive industry.

Chris holds two degrees – one in Business from St Mary’s College, MI and another in Marketing from Brock University.

While Chris’ number one priority are his two kids, he also has a life-long passion for basketball. Chris played basketball at the varsity level and now officiates the game at the professional level. In his free time Chris enjoys playing golf as much as possible.
